About Camp Marom

Camp Backyard Hoops began more than a decade ago, with 5 campers in the Ettedgui living room. With Hashem's help we have expanded to almost 60 campers from all across south Florida and relocated to the Boca Raton Synagogue. Backyard Hoops has become known as the best place for boys to end their summer right!  Boasting a wide range of activities, a superb staff, and the ruach and atmosphere fitting for b’nei Torah - Backyard Hoops is the place to be!

This summer we are changing our name to.... if you haven't yet figured it out...Camp Marom! Marom will continue to service grades 1-5 the last two weeks of the summer, and will have an EXtreme division for 6th-8th graders running July 12th-August 6th. Experience sleepaway camp in the comfort of your own backyard!

Camp Marom extreme was created to give middle school boys who are home in the summer, the opportunity to experience sleepaway camp in the comfort of their own backyard. Marom extreme will accomplish this goal by having the perfect home base - with a state of the art game room, cookoff kitchen, and a relaxing place to hang out. Extending the day until 4:15 with scattered night activities, weekly mishmar and Shabbos oneg's, promise to give the boys an amazing summer experience.
